Role: As a GSV Sampler, you will collect and prepare liquid cargo samples in accordance with the latest industry standards and QHSE requirements. You will mostly work on behalf of leading international inspection companies in the ARA area, either in shifts or on an ad hoc basis.

Responsibilities:

- Sampling of Crude Oil, Mineral Oil Products, Chemicals and Edible Oils
- Collecting samples from shore tanks, tanker barges and tanker vessels
- Correctly labelling, sealing and storing samples
- Preparing samples for transport and laboratory analysis
- Maintaining sampling equipment and accurate sampling records
- Following safety procedures and reporting irregularities to the responsible surveyor

Requirements:

- A valid Category B driving licence recognised in the Netherlands.
- A practical mindset and an interest in liquid cargo inspection
- Experience in sampling or the maritime industry is an advantage
- Dutch residents only
- Valid VCA certificate
- Good communication skills in English and preferably also in Dutch
- Able to follow written instructions carefully and work efficiently, safely and accurately
- Comfortable with flexible hours and varying work schedules
